It is that time of the year when it is imperative to – Fuel our Bodies with the Precious Liquid – called “H2O”. WATER is the secret of our energy …it not only purifies our system but also keeps us hydrated. However did you know that it’s not just essential to drink lots of water, but also consume it at the right time? Yes one should follow a time-table schedule for sipping this colourless liquid filled with energy for the human body.
Now talking about the optimal time to have h2o, let’s first agree that it’s vital to drink eight glasses of water daily for the body to function properly. In order to maximise the effect on our body of the water we guzzle, stick to TIME.
Drink one or more glasses of water after waking up without brushing your teeth to help activate your internal organs. Gargle that water within your mouth before swallowing. This helps to remove any toxins before your first meal of the day. Further, drink one glass of water 30 minutes before a meal to help digestion. Remember not to drink too soon before or after a meal as the water will dilute the digestive juices. Drink water an hour after the meal to allow the body to absorb the nutrients.
Then drink one glass of water before taking a bath to help lower your blood pressure.
Next drink one glass of water an hour before bedtime to replenish any fluid loss that can occur during the night.
Depending on your daily commitments, take your water-breaks seriously and sincerely such that you complete your eight glasses quota on time and Experience the Benefits!
